Your Trusted Family Care Center

'Ohana Lokahi, we believe in the power of connections. We teach and honor Hawaiian culture and
values. Our intergenerational family center supports elders and children through enriching projects. Our Values:
Aloha: Love, compassion and kindness. A central value that guides respectful and compassionate interaction between all ages.
'Ohana: Family, extending beyond blood relatives to include the entire community. It emphasizes support, collective responsibility, and belonging.
Malama: To care for, tend and protect. This applies to both the people and the land (malama 'aina).
Kuleana: Responsibility and privilege. It speaks to the duty to care for one another and the surrounding environment.
Ho'ohanohano: To honor and respect. This value emphasizes treating the wisdom and dignity of elders with highest regard.
Lokahi: Unity, balance and harmony. This speaks to a holistic approach to wellness for all parts of the community.
Laulima: Cooperation and working together, reinforcing the idea that "many hands" are needed to care for the community.

We are Busy Working Hard so we can serve you very soon!
We are a non-profit organization. Our mission is to help families where help is needed. Many of our families are struggling to take care of their elders, and may also have a young child at home. Our child day care will help, we can also take elder and child into our program, leaving your family caregiver to go to a training program or to work, if that is the caregivers' choice.
We will have a few live in elders. This is for elders that the family feels have no other option (care has become too difficult at home, usually medical reasons. We are also working on bringing care-givers to your home as needed.. this is meant to help your family care-givers.
In the future, be able to have family care givers that can come to your homeWe are working on that now. All of our prices will be massevely reduced, our goal is to provide services if one is in need.
Please be in touch and let us know what you, as a family need. We are sculpting our programs out now, and can add programs as we hear from all of you.
